Very nice and helpfull staff. The position of the hotel is very good, and the price performance was suitable. I recommend this hotel.
Everything was great.
Triple room might be bigger.
Great location near tramway stop. The staff were very friendly&helpful. Nice hotel, very well furnished.
Perfect location, frendly staff, very clean... This is my hotel in Istanbul !!!
excellent staff good facilities breakfast room nice views very good location, we could walk to the main monuments
Everything is spotless. Personnel (reception, porters, cleaning staff) are extremely polite, friendly and helpful in anyway. We could borrow an electronic travelcard (Istanbulkart) to load with credit ourselves for use on all public transport. A spare laptop was also avaible. The hotel is located in a quite corner of the otherwise rather buzy quarters of Karakoy. Most attractions can easily be reached by tram within 15 to 20 minutes. The breakfast room offers a stunning view towards the Asian shore and the Sea of Marmara and lots of morning sunlight. Breakfast itself is OK, apart from the lousy coffee. We were each presented with a box of Turkish Delight after we had settled our bill. We could leave our luggage in a secured room and were given a receipt for each (!) suitcase. In short, excellent value for your money.
The fancy furniture is a bit oversized for the small rooms and not positioned efficiently. A proper chair is missing - there is an ottoman though - and so are a few wallhooks to hang coats ea. The curtains aren't wide enough to block all daylight. Minor flaws that shouldn't keep future guests from booking this otherwise fine hotel.
Friendly staff. They took care for our car, we didn't have to use a public parking. Superb location. Nice view from the breakfast terrace.
New, well-run property with highly trained staff.
Low wattage lamps (13w) in bedroom made reading impossible
warm welcome of the friendly staff! I felt like friend and not as a hotel guest!
The Breakfast with sea view The staff and especially helpfull receptionists(Loukman and Gihane)
Very Friendly and Helpful Staff, they helped us decide where and how to go, showing us maps. Location was perfect to go to any Tourist Spots, be it Sultan Ahmet, Princess Island, Taksim Square, Bosphorous, Bursa, etc. Breakfast on Roof was an awesome experience with amazing view all around. We decided for this hotel after reading all the reviews on Booked.net and our Decision was perfect, they truly deserve all the good reviews. Would highly recommend this Hotel to everyone. And even we would like to stay again when we revisit Istanbul.
Staff were very attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent wifi coverage. Good restaurants nearby and some of the most famous landmarks were just a short walk away. Ferry terminal 5minutes walk and tram station 100 metres, perfect for getting around! Free airport collection worked perfectly. The hotel made you feel at home they would offer you a drink when in the reception area. They even gave my wife a little present when we checked out and upgraded our room when we checked in. I travel a lot for my job this family run hotel rates highly with any of the large hotel chains I usually stay at.
Very difficult to criticise anything but a, 'make-up room' card would be useful and perhaps a few more hangars in wardrobe.
the staff spcialy the lady sfga she was very helpfull
the room size very small
1. Very friendly and helpful staff. Try everything they could to make you feel welcome after arrival. 2. Love the Baroque style decoration all over the hotel and the room. 3. around 5 min walk form the nearest tram stop Tophane. 4. great view on the top floor for the breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.
Don't forget to confirm your flight time one day before your arrival for them to give you a one way free transfer from the airport (even though you have done so after you book your hotel). They didn't 'remember' it somehow upon our arrival so wasted sometime in the airport and got a taxi. Wasn't the best thing as the beginning of the holiday. Did get a free transfer back to the hotel though. Everything is excellent apart from this issue.
Staff is the best thing about it. They truly make you feel there's no other guest there but you. Rooms are cozy, as well as bed linens.
Location is far from excelent. I'd say it's just ok. There's a tram line right across the street, but it's quite expensive and, to reach major atractions, takes a while. If you're willing to walk, save some energy. If hotel has rooms with a view to the Bosphorus, as pictured, may be the master, upper, most expensive suite, 'cause I didn't see it (and I've asked for a room with a view).
